Saturday 20th May, 9pm. Free Entry

Melbourne Blues duo The New Savages launch their new single "I've Lost My Little Girl" with a 38-date national tour.

"I've Lost My Little Girl" builds upon the signature Melbourne Hill Country Blues sound developed on The New Savages first two acclaimed EPs. Lead singer Milan Milutinovic's husky baritone vocals and 30's delta blues guitar sit effortlessly on top of Nathan Power's jazz shuffle drums. Dealing lyrically with themes around love and regret, "I've Lost My Little Girl" is The New Savages darkest track thus far.

The New Savages had a busy 2016, recording and releasing their second EP "Down The River Blues" which debuted at #4 on the AMRAP's regional charts..

"Down The River Blues" was subsequently nominated for The Age & Music Victoria's "Best Blues Album" and hit top 25 on ABARAC's Blues and Roots Airplay Chart. The New Savages played over 100 shows in 2016, including three national tours and a myriad of festivals (St Kilda Festival, White Night, Melbourne Music Week, Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival, Ballarat Beer Festival).

The last week of 2016 saw The New Savages back in the studio recording their third EP for release June 2017. Kicking off the year with a run of Victorian dates, the "I've Lost My Little Girl Tour" includes spots at Port Fairy Folk Festival, White Night Melbourne and Moomba as well as headline shows in VIC, QLD, NSW, ACT, TAS, SA and WA.
