The Galloping Foxleys

The Galloping Foxleys (WA)

Sunday 26th March, 3:30pm. Free entry

Galloping Foxleys are a devilishly debonair, many brained outfit of mismatch irregulars that found a collective voice in Fremantle's dark alleyways.

They are redefining folk music for the modern world combining country and city, soft and loud, rough and smoothly bald.

Their whimsical lyrics, gin soaked melodies and shameless bravado have cemented them as firm favourites in the port city and beyond.

Recent performances have taken them to Wave Rock Weekender, State of the Arts Festival, Fairbridge Folk Festival, Red Earth Arts Festival, Karridale Circus Festival, the inaugural Fremantle Folk Festival and a headline show at Fremantle Arts Centre. Last year was a big year for the Foxleys winning WAM Folk Song of the Year for My Love Affair with Archer and making The West Australian's Top Ten WA Albums of 2016.

Already this year there is a new album in production slated for release in May and a host of local and regional shows. It's time to get fox'd!
